TJ`s Deli in Dade City

Nice place for light meals and then top off with ice cream.

I love coming here for lunchtime sandwiches, especially the cuban. Just amazing. Friendly, quaint little sandwich ship with local food products for sale as well. Highly recommended

Sandwiches were absolutely disgusting! I don't feel that the current pandemic is an excuse either. It was clearly not boars head meat like the window said, the dollar tree probably has better meat than what was on our sandwiches. It was a huge waste of $50 and am currently at another restaurant paying double to feed my family. I will not go there ever again!

The place is dirty, and the server received cash from a diner she was wearing gloves , and I watched her return to making a sandwich with the same pair of gloves. I definitely will not be returning. I remember years ago I had lunch there but now it’s awful.

Always great food and great service. I usually get the chef salad. It's huge and delicious! They do not hold back on piling on the meats and cheeses!

This place is nasty, floors never been clean, dead roaches on the wall where they do sandwich prep. Staff never washed their hands. I saw one staff member cross contaminate while making the sandwiches. We saw a roach climbing on the icecream case. The staff was also rude and their appearance undesirable.

Not a bad local spot. Ice cream was good. Soft serve was not working like so many places. If you pass through check it out

They have a cuban WRAP. Not just a sandwich. By far, amazing. Love the hometown vibe.

Came in for some scooped ice cream, which was good. It is no longer edy's brand however. Looked around and noticed the cold cut shelves were empty, soft serve was out of service. TV in the corner was on very loud, and the place was a ghost town.

We got there around 5:30pm and they had already cleaned the soft serve machine for the day, so we chose scooped ice cream instead. They have a good selection of Blue Bell ice cream and ample servings! We stop here almost every time we visit Dade City. We have, in the past, eaten at their deli which serves Boar's Head meats in their sandwiches. The prices for both the deli and ice cream are reasonable. We will visit again!

We love it here. The ice cream and shakes are wonderful. And yes they are real hand made shakes here.

We had vanilla ice cream, they were out of chocolate. I will definitely return, Great hometown ice cream shop.

Great Cubans! You can get all kinds of hot and cold sandwiches, Boars Head deli meat, Cuban bread and ice cream desserts. If you are eating in service can be a little slow but everything is made fresh.

Came in got 2 Cubans, we elected to not get them toasted which they they seemed very weird about doing, seemed odd at first, well until we got home.. the cuban bread was days old or left overnight uncovered the bread was hard as a rock in spots (NOT EXAGGERATING) could have been used as a home defense weapon.. easy to hide old bread if its pressed/toasted. Anyway just a waste of 18$

The sandwich maker never washed hands and did not were gloves, made 2 other meals while we were there and never washed once, No ice in machine and sandwich was microwaved really!!!!

The WORST place I have been to in this area in a long time! They stole 20$ from me. My food was not edible. It went in the garbage. My sandwich wasn't even a sandwich.When I got home and opened it, it was thrown in the bag and falling apart. I wish I would of taken a pictures to post. The bread was old and hard. She threw the pickle inside the plastic bag she put my sandwiches in. Couldn't even be bothered to wrap it up. I will never come back here. I will tell everyone I know o stay away from this place.

I did not get her name, but the lady at the counter was very nice. I had the Cuban sandwich but opted to have it the traditional way (without lettuce, tomato, or onion) and it was delicious. I will definitely come back. This was my first visit to Tj's.

I go here for lunch pretty frequently. They have the best deli style sandwich in town. You can't go wrong with their Ruben or Cubans. Both are excellent. They meter their side dishes a bit on the slim side, so it isn't quite as filling as I'd like, but for the price I can't complain. I highly recommend this locally owned spot. Five stars! I will continue to eat here as long as I'm in town.

Great service, super delicious food, and a variety of choices. Busy yet fixed my orders quickly. Seating both inside and outside. Ordered Italian PoBoy and Hero. My only regret in not getting a scoop of ice cream!

Small place but delicious ice cream treats and great sandwiches

Stopped in for lunch today, on a cool fall day in Dade City. Just your normal hometown deli with 6” sandwich. Lunch meat was cut nice and thin and was very fresh. I personally thought a little pricey, but good quality.

Use to serve a pickle wedge with sandwich. Tea tastes terrible today. Last visit was just as bad. Worker was rude and he took another customer's order right in the middle of taking my order. Time to give it up.

Finally found a smart place that has ice cream for those who are lactose intolerant ...... coconut ice cream! I'm in heaven now! 😋💕

Love this place! I ordered a Cuban sandwich which was made fresh and tasted amazing! The ice cream was good too, and there are many flavors to choose from. They also have wine and beer and lots of outdoor seating. Great service too! Highly recommended.
